Peanut butter cups are my weakness. It is nothing for me to stop by the store near my house just to get a snack for later. Late night peanut butter cups and reality tv are my guilty pleasures!
To make this recipe sweet but healthy I use Viance Vitality Blend. It is a meal replacement shake, but I added it to this recipe to mix my standard smoothie up a little…and I am so glad I did!
This is going to be my new go to snack when I have a sweet tooth. It’ll help me stick to one of my New Years Resolutions which is to have more of a balance in my life in all areas, including health!
I didn’t want to do a typical “diet” as a New Years Resolution this year because I want to try and instill healthy habits in my daughter. Eating a healthy balanced diet year round rather than going on fad “diets” is something that I think is important for her to learn.
Life is 100% about balance and somedays I will splurge on a date night with my family, but to me that means that the next morning I need to be eating something healthy.
I was already drinking my chocolate Vitality Blend in the mornings when I had the idea to mix it with my favorite ingredients to satisfy my ultimate sweet tooth. The recipe is extremely quick and easy. My toddler was yelling at me for a banana the whole time I was making it and I got it to her before a complete epic meltdown (haha!)
- 12 oz almond milk
- 1 scoop Viance Vitality Blend (chocolate)
- 1/2 banana
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth!
