This has to be one of the most popular restaurant dishes around! But what if we told you that you could indulge in your favorite dinner dish without the guilt? Well here we have some tips on how to make your crockpot orange chicken healthy, while sharing a few more crockpot recipes that are just as tasty and nutritious.

Don’t fry it!

The first step in many orange chicken recipes is to bread the chicken cutlets with a mixture of flour, cornstarch, and seasonings, only to toss it in a frying pan full of fattening oil. Instead of clogging your arteries and adding fat to your diet, cook your orange chicken in our crockpot and let the natural juices, spices, and flavors marinate the meat. This way you’ll get just as much flavor without the risk of a heart attack!

Cut back on sugar
