Our Healthy Holiday Dinner Menu

Planning a holiday menu that’s nutritious AND delicious doesn’t have to be hard. Use our healthy holiday dinner menu to give you some ideas about how to supplement what you’re serving so that everyone at the table can enjoy the food and festivities!

1. Skinny Spinach Artichoke Dip

This is always a crowd pleaser and a way healthier version than what folks typically see at the restaurant. It’s easy to make ahead of time and takes little prep, so you can get busy with other holiday activities. It’s full of spinach which has a looong list of nutrients like niacin and zinc, as well as protein, fiber, vitamins A, C, E and K, thiamin, vitamin B6, folate, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper, and manganese. Whoa! All these things help lower your cholesterol, keep your skin and hair looking beautiful, and are also important for bone health. 2. Cranberry Pecan Pear Salad

Start your holiday meal with this elegant and colorful salad that is full of health benefits. Cranberries help with the prevention of certain types of cancer, improved immune function, decreased blood pressure while the pretty pears offer loads of fiber and  vitamin B2, C, E, copper, and potassium. We guarantee there won’t be any leftovers of this tasty dish! 

3. White Bean & Vegetable Soup

Want to serve a starter that will warm everyone up and is also nutritious? Then enjoy this delicious soup that has white beans, which provide a good supply of detoxifying “molybdenum”. This mineral helps to clean the body while helping to neutralize toxins from smoke, yeast, and alcohol. 4. Garlic Mashed Cauliflower

This recipe is a healthy spin on everyone’s favorite side dish and we guarantee that everyone will be asking for seconds! And it also helps fight cancer, promote heart health, and helps with digestion because of all that beneficial fiber. The garlic isn’t so bad either with it’s immune boosting properties which are especially important this time of year when every other person seems to have the sniffles! 5. Chipotle Glazed Roast Chicken

And now for the main course! This delicious dish has a bit of spice and is paired with the superfood sweet potatoes. These colorful veggies are a superfood because they’re filled with so many nutrients including vitamins B, C, D, iron, potassium, and magnesium. And that kick from the chipotle pepper is also a health benefit with it’s immune boosting and weight loss properties. Yum!


6. Pumpkin Pots de Creme

We can’t forget about dessert! This elegant and of course delicious dessert can be made ahead of time, allowing you to focus on friends and family…and the other yummy items at the table. Pumpkins aren’t around for long, so get them in this scrumptious dessert. The beautiful orange star of this dish has loads of fiber that help with weight loss while improving heart health.
