How to SUPERCHARGE your lymphatic system in just 15 minutes!!!

Vibrant Health Requires A Healthy Lymphatic System
Most people are unaware that their lymphatic system pumps lymph throughout their body. It acts as a sewage system, carrying toxins and dead cells out of the body. You actually have three times as much lymphatic fluid in your body as you do blood, about 45 pints of fluid. Unlike the blood, which is moved by the pumping of our heart, lymph fluid is entirely dependent on body movement for circulation.

Your lymphatic system is designed for daily exercise and movement, otherwise it will become stagnant and the toxins will become trapped in your body. The longer these toxins are trapped in your body the more you will be susceptible to infections and disease.

Another function of the lymphatic system is producing antibodies, which fight viruses and bacteria, and destroying abnormal cells, such as cancer cells.

 

Here are a few ways to keep the lymph flowing smoothly …

1. MOVE!!! Get outside and go for a walk. Jump on a trampoline. Do jumping jacks. Do yoga. Any exercise that gets you to breath deeply will stimulate your lymphatic system and keep you healthy. 15 minutes a day is all it takes!

2. Practice deep breathing:
Learn the proper breathing technique:
A. To learn to breathe correctly, begin by slowly breathing in through your nose through the count of four. While you inhale, pause for a brief second on each number.
B. Hold the breath for a count of 4.
C. Slowly exhale through your mouth for a count of 4. (Some call this 4-4-4 breathing.) When you exhale, pause for a brief second on each number.
D. Repeat this process three more times (for a total of four breaths.) Do not do more than four breaths at first – with practice, you can work your way up to eight breaths. Do this twice each day.

3. Eat a clean diet
Foods that promote a top-notch lymph system include organic fruits and veggies, especially the leafy greens for their chlorophyll content. Fruits and vegetables supply the lymphatic system with important vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and phytonutrients. Essential fatty acids in the form of flaxseed oil, spirulina, walnuts, almonds and avocados are also necessary for proper lymph function. Preservatives, artificial sweeteners, refined grains, excess sugar, chemicals and processed foods all put strain on the lymphatic system.

4. Drink plenty of water
The lymphatic system depends on an abundant supply of water, so it’s important to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day to keep it functioning at its best.
